West Coast Wonderland

I'm currently on the west coast - in Allison Wonderland territory - and I wish I had her whole Fall/Winter '11 collection with me! All of us at the store just love the latest from this Vancouver designer. It's got fantastic patterns, luscious silks, and perfect tailoring (removable slips, hello?!). Get 'em while they last!





Side note: I would KILL for those leopard-print stilettos.

Caitlyn Rose

Caitlyn Rose is sister to equally-talented-fellow-General-54-artist Sheena Purcell (they come from a family of goldsmiths!) She makes jewellery inspired by and assembled from bits of nature, industry and cultural artefacts. Sterling silver, antique nails, chunks of quartz... these pieces evoke stories and places that make you want to get in a car and road trip!

For the birds

We just got Birds of North America Fall/Winter '11 in store and it's deadly gorgeous! The antithesis to BNA's fun and light S/S collection (which is now on sale!), this collection is brooding and sharp. Tailored silhouettes in rich olive, silky navy and textured teal makes for a fashionably cozy fall wardrobe. This is going to look so good with your berets, riding boots and knit scarves. And how hot are those tights? There are two styles, and I plan on getting both so as not to choose between them :)
