Jen Ham and Pin Pal bring the love

Just in time for Valentine's day! Montreal sewing-machine virtuoso Jen Ham has been blowing our minds for years now. She's just brought us a collection of ridiculously amazing change purses and a whole new batch of meticulously assembled "theme" pins (38$ CAN), all with her trademark super-miniature detail. How she manages to micro-sew like this we'll never know. But we suspect she may have some special powers. Available at General 54 only.



And more heart themed stuff:
We've known Montreal design/sewing team Pin Pal mostly as makers of appliqued bags and super cute felt pins. But then they completely surprised us with this collection of handmade, articulated puppet cards (12$ CAN). There are three models, and all fold up neatly into a square envelope (which of course is included!). They also come with an individual lovely red heart. Having a soft spot for puppets in general, we love love love these things which are almost more toy than card really! Thanks to Claudia for being such an excellent puppet wrangler.
